Weekly trading summary and wrap-up - market overview and the week ahead

Well, here is this week's weekly wrap.   And to be honest, it wasn't really too much of a great week.

I mean, yes, we made  profits, but overall trading was dominated by you like the twin threats of inflation and a potential war in the Ukraine. That always makes the markets jumpy. Any sign of uncertainty will make people go into a little bit of a panic. That's what we saw this week. Lots of volatility with increasing volatility towards the end of the week.

That made for tough trading for Thursday and Friday. But as ever, turned a profit - albeit just a few hundred dollars.

Overall, not a great week though, and with Monday being Presidents Day, next week is a short week.

Let's hope the situation in Ukraine can be resolved peacefully, and that we don't end up dealing with a situation that we haven't seen in Europe, which is large scale war for many, many years.
