The trading day before Presidents Day .... live trading 18th Feb 2022

Yay!  After $235 in 30 minutes we get a holiday

Today was the last days trading before the Presidents Day holiday.

Hurray, we get a day off. How fantastic is that?

That's one of the best things about trading actually.  You don't end up working the same days as everybody else.  You often get little extra break. I mean, you know what could be better than living the lifestyle that you want in and around making some money trading the markets?  We made some nice money today. Not a huge amount at $235 to be fair, but not every day can be a party day.

But you know what, it's better than nothing and it took us only 30 minutes.

In the UK. , we're in the middle of a major storm right now. So it kind of meant that we could trade a bit and then stop and watch it.

Sometimes storms are fascinating to watch. And that's the best thing you can do when there's a storm in the market. Sit and watch it.  The past few days have been quite brutal. Plenty of nerves in the market. Plenty of nerves caused by amongst other things, events taking place in Ukraine, as well as of course the spectre of inflation on the horizon. Who knows what happens next?

All I know is not many people wanted to go home long this weekend. With everything that's happening. who can blame them?

We certainly didn't go home long (or short to be fair) we like to go home flat every weekend.

This weekend is  better than most because, of course, it's a three day weekend and we're off somewhere absolutely lovely.

With luck you are relaxing too and we hope you have a fantastic break.  See you in a couple of days.
