Weekly Wrap - 19th Sep 2021

80km riding, 3 hours of thought, and a nice cup of coffee - it's the weekly wrap

What can we say about the last week?  Mon/Tue/Wed were superb. Thursday as not great as we headed into expiry and Friday we should just have stayed at home.  Weekly profits were again over $4000 on minis or $400 on micros.  And that was after making the classic error of trading to be smart and trading on quadruple witching day (or any expiry actually).

Why did we do it?   Well, being honest we got a little bit cocky and ignored our own rules.  We never normally trade expiry but we felt we want to show our members why we don't bother.  It was actually a really nasty day on the markets, with a sell off interspersed with some jumpy little bounces.  Those sort of days don't deliver anything in the main - walk away.  We went from $255 up after 8 minutes to $200 down after 3 hours.  Painful.  Miserable and .... just one of those days.

A great week though and we will be back on Monday.
