Live trading futures can be a thankless task. Sometimes the trades just don't go your way, and today was one of those days. Don't get me wrong, we made $385 on minis and $38.50 on micros - so no losses, but the big winning trades all came before the market formally opened as the non-farms came out.
The marker soared on data that wasn't as good as expected - probably because it means interested trades will remain low for the foreseeable. Not that we care - we trade in a statistical manner and rely on high probability trading signals to make us profitable futures traders. Is there any information that isn't leaked tot he big banks? We're not conspiracy theorists but ... we doubt it.
Not that it matters to us. We live trade the futures markets anyway because it is how we teach people to trade. If you want to become a full-time futures trader or eve a part-time trader, your first port of call should be s super high probability trading system. Now let's be clear - there is no silver bullet to trading success. Anyone that claims 100% success is to be avoided - its pure BS.
At Inteligex we put our money where our mouth is - every single day. We teach you to trade, and you learn to trade, by watching us trade live. That's in addition to our learn to trade course and our trader training video series. Our aim? We want to build traders. Create traders from the ground up. It sounds like a lofty ideal, but we know what we do works. Thats why we trade it live ourselves and why our members learn to trade alongside us.
In the video below you will see a tough day on the US markets. Not many trades to be had in the wake of the non-farms. But we can only trade what we see. It was an interesting day for us also as it was International Corgi Day. We're Brits and our Queen, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second loves those dogs so its good to see the dogs getting a bit of recognition. Weird? Yup. Fun? Yup.
