Over $2k trading live - a good day despite the chop

Mark Sear • Oct 05, 2021

October continues where September left off - choppy days but good profits

Monday was brutal.  A complete collapse in Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp cause FB stock to drop 5% - and with it .... went the whole market.  It was not a nice day to trade at all but we made $300 over 3 trades.  TOUGH TRADING.

Today (Tuesday) was nicer.  Still choppy but we took 5 trades for $2840 on minis or $284 on micros.  In fact a better than good day especially as we traded for just the opening 30 minutes before stopping.  As lifestyle traders we had made enough for the day, why push it and give any money back?  There were other great trades out there of course but we had made what we wanted and so we stopped.

Learning to trade can be tough.  Many people think you must spend 10 hours a day in front of the screen.  You don't.  Be patient.  Know when enough is enough,  and when you see the market starting to slow down ... stop.

Follow the 5 Step Process and it will keep you out of the chop and show you High Probability Trades, it's your trusted guide in the markets.
