Day trading on MLK day - summary

Day trading on a half day open?  Why would you?

Today was MLK Day and we decided to try just to see if there were any trades out there at all.

The market was really slow as you would normally expect on a public holiday and of course the in the markets are only open half of the day. What happened? Well, we made a little bit of money then we lost a little bit of money.

By the end of the session we were $751 to the good and it made trading worthwhile.

Overall, it wasn't a great day. It was a sort of thing that we knew and next year, we won't bother trading at all.

We used the day as a trader education day and tried to teach people today more how to read the markets.

But to be honest, there really wasn't enough volume there to get a lot out of the session.

We tried. It didn't quite work. But we ended up the day $751 to the good. So overall, not a bad day.
